Triangle metal dome (triagle tactile metal domes) is triangle shaped metal dome which is designed for mounting on single or double sided printed circuit boards, flex circuits and membranes, where a Via is run through the circuit board.
Applications requiring a good click feeling but limited to narrow space, such as small, hand-held devices, are a perfect fit with our Triangle series metal domes. On the same diameter, we cag get biggest force from triangle dome. The Trip force which can reach up to 6,000gf (6kg), so this triangle tactile dome can be used as heavy force control switch to avoid careless operation.
Most of triangle dome has two legs (feet) which can insert into the hole of circuit board, so that it can be fixed on circuit without any adhesive tape and can be used in high temperature. Sometimes people named it as "metal dome with legs".
